Roof Ladder

Every roof with a level change has the same problem: crews need to get up there, and the options are a portable ladder that gets moved and forgotten, or a fixed ladder bolted to the parapet. The Roof Ladder is a complete access kit with ladder, platform, and handrails that sets on U-Anchor® bases instead. Each base is Compression-Free™ and considered a component of the roof, so it is included in the roof warranty.

Drag to turn it

A roof ladder secured to 3000 Series U-Anchors®.

How it works

It starts with a U-Anchor®, a component of the roof, sealed watertight at the point of attachment. Everything else connects your equipment to that one point.

The anchor

The part that carries the load. A galvanized steel plate with rolled edges that protect the membrane sits under a cover membrane matched to the roofing brand, type, and color, leaving a stainless stud at the surface for everything else to bolt to. Which one you use is decided by the membrane on the building, not by the equipment.

The hardware

What connects your equipment to that stud. Supplied with the solution, and sold on its own where a job needs more of them.

The fittings

Assembled ladder, Pre-assembled access walk through, Access walkway through support — fitted to the equipment itself rather than to the roof.

Why it works

WATERTIGHT
Every leg sets on a U-Anchor® base with a Compression-Free™ seal. The base is a component of the roof, so the roof stays watertight and the roofing manufacturer's warranty stays intact. No pitch pockets to maintain, no ballast blocks shifting across the deck.
ENGINEERED
Rise, platform, and rail heights are set to the elevation change on your roof, and the whole assembly ships as one kit. Nothing gets cut, welded, or drilled on the deck. The crew sets the bases, bolts the frame, and the access is permanent.
PROVEN
Installed on commercial roofs nationwide, across every common membrane, on new construction and retrofits alike. The same attachment method that carries pipe, duct, and equipment on those roofs carries the ladder.
