What we collect when you visit anchorp.com, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. Last updated 17 September 2026

The short version

You can read this whole website without telling us who you are. We count visits so we know which pages and documents are useful. If you use the search box or the assistant, we keep what you typed, with any contact details removed automatically.

We use HubSpot, our customer database, to see which pages visitors read. It does this with its own cookies, whether or not you accept ours. The pages are not connected to your name unless you send us a form — then the pages you read in that browser become part of your record with us, so whoever replies already understands what you were looking at.

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

What we collect when you visit

Every visit records, in our own statistics and without any cookie:

  • the page you looked at
  • the website that sent you here — only the site name, never the full address
  • any campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source and similar)
  • whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer

To count people rather than page loads, we also store a scrambled code made from your IP address and browser. We never store your IP address itself in our statistics, and the recipe for that code changes every day — so it can tell us how many different people visited today, and nothing else. Yesterday’s code and today’s cannot be matched up.

We do not record visits from search-engine crawlers or from our own staff portal.

Cookies

This website uses cookies from three places:

  • Ours — only if you accept it. One small file containing a random code that means nothing on its own. It lets our own statistics recognise the same browser on a later visit, so we can see a journey — for example that someone read three product pages before downloading a data sheet.
  • HubSpot. Set for every visitor. HubSpot records the pages you view and how you arrived, and connects them to you if you send us a form. We use it to manage enquiries and to see which pages lead people to get in touch.
  • Google. Google Tag Manager and Google Ads tell us when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to contact us, so we know which ads are worth paying for.

HubSpot and Google may use what they collect as their own terms allow; see HubSpot’s and Google’s privacy policies. You can block or delete any of these cookies in your browser’s settings at any time — the site still works without them.

Recognising companies

We may look up the organisation that an internet connection belongs to, so we can see which companies are interested in our products. This identifies a network — usually an employer — and never an individual. It is a rough signal and is often wrong or blank.

When you send us a form

We keep whatever you type — typically your name, company, email, phone number, where you are and your message — along with the page you sent it from. It is saved in our website’s own records and in HubSpot, and emailed to the people who will reply. We use your location to pass your enquiry to the sales representative who covers your area.

We use it to answer you and to follow up about your project. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

The search box and the assistant

We keep a record of what people search for and what they ask the assistant, so we can see what visitors are looking for and — more usefully — what the site failed to answer. We store the question and the page you were on. We do not store the assistant’s replies.

Before anything is saved, email addresses, phone numbers and long runs of digits are replaced automatically with [email], [phone] and [number]. Please do not type personal or confidential information into the assistant. It is not a contact form and cannot take your details — if you want us to get back to you, use the contact form, which is built for it.

The search box never leaves our own servers. The assistant does: your question is sent to OpenAI, which writes the reply. The conversation itself is not saved anywhere — close the tab and it is gone.

Tracked links

Links we share in emails and posts sometimes run through a short address on our own domain so we can count how many people clicked. That count is a total only — it is not connected to you.

How long we keep it

Our own visit and download records are deleted automatically after 400 days. Searches and questions asked of the assistant are deleted after 180 days — they are things you typed, so we keep them for as short a time as is useful. Messages you send us, and your record in HubSpot, are kept for as long as we are doing business together, or until you ask us to delete them.

Who else can see it

These companies handle information on our behalf:

  • Vercel runs the website, and Supabase stores its data.
  • HubSpot holds our contacts and enquiries, and runs its tracking described above.
  • Google measures our advertising.
  • OpenAI writes the assistant’s answers.
  • IPinfo tells us which organisation a network belongs to.
  • Our email providers deliver messages about your enquiry to our team.

Beyond those, nobody outside Anchor Products sees this data.

Your choices

You can change your mind about our cookie at any time, right here. Declining also deletes it from your browser. This choice covers our own cookie; to stop HubSpot or Google cookies, block or clear them in your browser’s settings.

Your cookie choice

You have not chosen yet. Until you do, we do not set the cookie.

You can also ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. Email info@anchorp.com and we will remove your details and everything linked to them, including your record in HubSpot.
