Pipe Support Securement

Pipe on a roof has to do three things at once: hold a grade, expand and contract with the seasons, and stay off the membrane. Blocks and sleepers manage the third one badly and the first two not at all. Pipe Support Securement carries the run on adjustable stands set on a 3000 Series U-Anchor® base: an elevated stand for a fixed run, and a roller stand where the pipe has to move. Items placed above the roof are commonly considered overburden and excluded from the roof warranty. The Compression-Free™ U-Anchor® is considered a component of the roof and included in the warranty.

How it works

It starts with a U-Anchor®, a component of the roof, sealed watertight at the point of attachment. Everything else connects your equipment to that one point.

The anchor
3000 Series

The part that carries the load. A galvanized steel plate with rolled edges that protect the membrane sits under a cover membrane matched to the roofing brand, type, and color, leaving a stainless stud at the surface for everything else to bolt to. Which one you use is decided by the membrane on the building, not by the equipment.

The fittings

12" strut, Strut cap, Stand-off post, All-thread, Compatible bolt and washer kit — fitted to the equipment itself rather than to the roof.

Why it works

WATERTIGHT
Every stand sets on a U-Anchor® base with a Compression-Free™ seal. The base is a component of the roof, so the roof warranty stays intact. The pipe rides clear of the membrane, so nothing abrades it and nothing dams water against it.
ENGINEERED
Two stands off the same base: an elevated stand on a 12" strut for a run that stays put, and a roller stand where the pipe has to move with temperature. Both adjust in the field on 18" all-thread, so the run holds its grade without shimming.
PROVEN
Installed on commercial roofs nationwide, across every common membrane. This is the attachment most Anchor roofs start with, and the same base carries duct, equipment and structure alongside it.
