Satellite Dish Mount

A dish is a sail that has to hold a fixed aim. Wind works on the whole face of it. The usual mounting is a ballast tub, a curb bolt, or a floating sled, and it either moves or moves the roof. Satellite Dish Mount sets the dish on a U-Anchor® base engineered for the load, so the aim holds. The U-Anchor® is a component of the roof, not something sitting on top of it.

How it works

It starts with a U-Anchor®, a component of the roof, sealed watertight at the point of attachment. Everything else connects your equipment to that one point.

The anchor
2000 Series or 3000 Series — depending on the type of dish

The part that carries the load. A galvanized steel plate with rolled edges that protect the membrane sits under a cover membrane matched to the roofing brand, type, and color, leaving a stainless stud at the surface for everything else to bolt to. Which one you use is decided by the membrane on the building, not by the equipment.

The fittings

Why it works

WATERTIGHT
The mount sets on a U-Anchor® base with a Compression-Free™ seal, so the roof assembly and its warranty stay intact. No ballast tub sitting on the membrane and nothing bolted through a curb.
ENGINEERED
Engineered to ASCE 7 wind load criteria for the mount and its attachment. Fixed rather than ballasted, so the dish holds its aim and the load transfers into the base rather than the membrane.
PROVEN
Installed on commercial roofs nationwide, across every common membrane. The same attachment method carrying pipe and equipment on those roofs holds the dish.
