Attached Pipe Frame

Pipe runs rarely stay simple. One line becomes six, and the roof collects sleepers, blocks, and whatever the last crew had on the truck. None of it is engineered, and all of it sits on the membrane. The Attached Pipe Frame carries the entire grouped run on one pre-engineered structure that lands on U-Anchor® bases. The U-Anchor® is a component of the roof, not something sitting on top of it.

Drag to turn it

An attached frame carrying a grouped pipe run across the roof, on 3000 Series U-Anchors.

How it works

It starts with a U-Anchor®, a component of the roof, sealed watertight at the point of attachment. Everything else connects your equipment to that one point.

Available configurations
The anchor
3000 Series

The part that carries the load. A galvanized steel plate with rolled edges that protect the membrane sits under a cover membrane matched to the roofing brand, type, and color, leaving a stainless stud at the surface for everything else to bolt to. Which one you use is decided by the membrane on the building, not by the equipment.

The hardware

What connects your equipment to that stud. Supplied with the solution, and sold on its own where a job needs more of them.

The fittings

Strut column, Strut support beam, Shoulder bracket, Angle brackets, Securement cables — fitted to the equipment itself rather than to the roof.

Why it works

WATERTIGHT
Every leg sets on a U-Anchor® base with a Compression-Free™ seal, so the roof assembly and its warranty stay intact. No pitch pockets to maintain, no ballast blocks working their way across the deck.
ENGINEERED
The frame is engineered before it ships, with height, span, and support spacing set for the run it carries. Grouped lines land on one structure instead of a field-built assembly, so what's on the roof is documented and repeatable.
PROVEN
Installed on commercial roofs nationwide, across every common membrane, on new construction and retrofits alike. The same attachment method that carries duct and equipment on those roofs carries the pipe.
