Wall Mounted Electrical Box

Not every disconnect belongs in the middle of the roof. Some of it has to go on the wall, beside a penthouse door, on a parapet, wherever the conduit already runs. That usually means a handful of fasteners driven through flashing with sealant over the top. The Wall Mounted Electrical Box attachment seals at every fastener with the same Compression-Free™ connection used on the deck, so the assembly stays intact.

Drag to turn it

A wall-mounted box on its Compression-Free™ attachment, on 2000 Series U-Anchors.

How it works

It starts with a U-Anchor®, a component of the roof, sealed watertight at the point of attachment. Everything else connects your equipment to that one point.

The anchor

The part that carries the load. A galvanized steel plate with rolled edges that protect the membrane sits under a cover membrane matched to the roofing brand, type, and color, leaving a stainless stud at the surface for everything else to bolt to. Which one you use is decided by the membrane on the building, not by the equipment.

The fittings

Horizontal strut support, Vertical strut, Electrical or control box (by others) — fitted to the equipment itself rather than to the roof.

Why it works

WATERTIGHT
Each attachment point seals with a Compression-Free™ connection, so the wall assembly and the roof warranty it's tied to stay intact. No fasteners left under a bead of sealant to be maintained.
ENGINEERED
Mounts the box flat to the wall on engineered attachment points rather than lag bolts and sealant. The box sits off the deck entirely, keeping the roof surface clear and the gear where the conduit already runs.
PROVEN
Installed on commercial roofs nationwide, across every common membrane. The same attachment method used across the roof carries the gear on the wall.
