Small Electrical Box Frame

One disconnect, and nowhere obvious to put it. It gets strapped to a curb, hung off a screen post, or set on a block by whoever was up there last. The Small Electrical Box Frame carries it on a single post set on a 3000 Series U-Anchor® base, clear of the roof, at working height, and taking up almost no room. The U-Anchor® is a component of the roof, not something sitting on top of it.

Drag to turn it

A small disconnect on its frame, secured with the 3000 Series U-Anchor®.

How it works

It starts with a U-Anchor®, a component of the roof, sealed watertight at the point of attachment. Everything else connects your equipment to that one point.

The anchor

The part that carries the load. A galvanized steel plate with rolled edges that protect the membrane sits under a cover membrane matched to the roofing brand, type, and color, leaving a stainless stud at the surface for everything else to bolt to. Which one you use is decided by the membrane on the building, not by the equipment.

The hardware

What connects your equipment to that stud. Supplied with the solution, and sold on its own where a job needs more of them.

The fittings

Strut column, Electrical or control box (by others), 5-hole corner gusset plate — fitted to the equipment itself rather than to the roof.

Why it works

WATERTIGHT
The post sets on a 3000 Series U-Anchor® base with a Compression-Free™ seal, so the roof assembly and its warranty stay intact. The box sits clear of the membrane, with nothing trapping water underneath and nothing to work around at re-roof.
ENGINEERED
A single post on a double-bolt 3000 Series base. One attachment point, sized so the box stays steady when someone's working in it. Where the gear is bigger, the Medium and Large frames carry it.
PROVEN
Installed on commercial roofs nationwide, across every common membrane. The same attachment method carrying pipe and equipment on those roofs carries the gear.
