Veterans Day Recognition

As this country celebrates Veterans Day to honor all those who serve and have served in the armed forces, we want to recognize our veterans in the Anchor Products family in honor of this day. We are proud to have five on our team that have served in our military.

Let’s meet our veterans. Scott Carpenter is the Director of Sales for Anchor Products with an extensive career in the roofing industry of 40+ years. Scott was a Staff Sergeant and served in the U.S. Air Force, as well as the North Carolina National Guard. He was part of the 263rd Combat Communication Squadron in Badin, North Carolina. Scott’s leadership shines in his role at Anchor Products with his dedication and communication skills.

Anchor Products has two former Marines on staff. Our Production Manager, Kellie Glass, served for 15 years in the USMC as an E-6 Staff Sergeant. With many ports of call in her military career spanning from Okinawa to Korea and Hawaii, she is a decorated soldier who also served in the Gulf War in 1990/91. She brings an outstanding work ethic to her role with us at Anchor Products.

Our second Marine here is Daniel Tucker. Daniel is a member of our hardworking production team. He served 6 years in the Marine Corps and was a Corporal stationed at Camp LeJeune, Okinawa, Korea, Kuwait, and Quantico in his time of service. His dedicated focus in his work reflects his background and is an asset to our team here.

Tim Roberts is part of the marketing team at Anchor Products as the resident web master and SEO specialist, keeping our digital presence in line. Tim served 20 years in the U.S. Navy, E-6, stationed in Japan, Norfolk, Virginia, and Charleston, South Carolina in his career. His versatility and hard work make him a uniquely skilled member of our team.

Craig Simpson is the Shipping Lead for Anchor Products and served for 8 years in the U.S. Coast Guard as an E-5 Operations Specialist 2nd Class. He served on the USCG Cutter Morgenthau in Alameda, California, as well as Vessel Traffic Service in Houston and Galveston. Craig exudes confidence in the workplace in his role and is a key part of our production process.

Again, we are proud of our veterans for the service and dedication to our country and what they mean to Anchor Products. They each bring a work ethic that sets an example to others, and we appreciate them immensely. We also want to honor all those nationwide who are serving, or have served, our country on Veterans Day.
