How does it affect my roof’s warranty?
The U-Anchor is accepted by every major roofing manufacturer to secure rooftop equipment and in many manufacturer cases, can be included in the warranty.
What kind of fasteners do I use?
The most commonly used fasteners are No. 14 and No. 15 roofing fasteners, as they are compatible with almost all roof deck types.
NOTE: First identify the kind of structural deck you have, as each deck type has different hold strengths for different fasteners.
Where are the products shipped from?
Origin of product delivery is from our facility in Haltom City, Texas.
Are freight and shipping charges included in the total cost?
Freight and Shipping charges are calculated separately and added to the total cost of the purchase.

What is the load capacity for a U-Anchor?
The Ultimate Load of the plate is published on each of our U-Anchor Data Sheets. The Ultimate Load is what the U-Anchor (and only the U-Anchor exclusively) can handle. Testing results are based on plate performance only.
Where can I find installation instructions?
Installation instructions are available on our website. We have printable guides, as well as videos for reference.
NOTE: To ensure that the warranty is upheld and maintained properly, a professional manufacturer-certified contractor install the U-Anchor.
How many U-Anchors will I need?
The number of U-Anchors needed per project will always depend on the engineering of the roof, the specific application the U-Anchor is being used for, and the building codes / performance requirements that must be met. These are typically provided (or designed) by your project’s engineer of record.

Our standard shipping options are:

- NOTE: Orders are not filled same day and shipping is dependent upon product availability and production time/schedule. Size of order can also create variables in shipping times.
Can I purchase a U-Anchor to a specific manufacturer’s roof material?
Yes! We build all U-Anchors to your specifications – such as manufacturer, roof type, color and thickness. It is important to know that extended lead times and additional costs may apply depending on your customized selection.
Why is it important to know the manufacturer of the roof?
It is important to know the roofing material manufacturer so the U-Anchor will match the roof type, and in turn will maintain the roof’s warranty. If the U-Anchor being installed is made from a different brand or material type, the roofing manufacturer can void the roof warranty. Maintaining the roof warranty is an important factor when choosing Anchor Products.
How is the U-Anchor ‘non-penetrating’ by definition?
Roof systems are made up of several components, such as waterproofing membranes, cover boards, insulation, adhesives, attachment plates, and fasteners. Adhesives and fasteners attach components to each other and to the building structure itself. Based on proper installation, this means that there are no exposed fasteners or areas where water may penetrate into the roofing and cause leaks.
Do you have solutions for sloped roofs or residential roofs?
Our U-Anchors are designed for low slope commercial roofs up to 2/12 slope grade. Also note that our U-Anchors are customized to match commercial style roofing materials (such as TPO, PVC, Coatings, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, etc.) We do not provide solutions for shingles, tiles, or other residential style roofing materials at this time.
