Inside Sales Support Representative

Anchor Products is a leading manufacturer of rooftop attachment products and systems for the low slope commercial roofing market, with corporate headquarters and manufacturing in Fort Worth, Texas. We are a fast-growing and hard-working team, and we mean TEAM.

 

Position Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Anchor Products offers the industry's most trusted line of rooftop attachments and a variety of accessory solutions for low slope roofing applications. One key to our success is our ability to help our customers identify the correct product and solution. We sell products to secure rooftop solar arrays, snow retention, communication equipment, HVAC equipment, and many other solutions. Your efforts will be the front line of communications for everything we do as a company. And because of that, the ideal candidate will be a highly efficient communicator, detail-oriented, process-driven, and understand the importance of working within a team environment. The Inside Sales Support Representatives will wear multiple hats throughout the day/week, but your primary role will be to ensure our Sales and Marketing efforts are handled promptly, such as:

- Manage inbound leads

- Processing Orders

- Relationship building with customers

- Deal pipeline management

- Data Collection / Entry

- Troubleshooting Customer Issues

- Assist with and manage shipping quotes and shipping requirements

Necessary Skills: As with most companies these days, we are highly dependent on the systems we use for accounting, customer information, insights, and the development of our markets. Therefore, computer competency/skills are highly sought after. But more so than anything, efficiency and accuracy in your daily activities are what is required. You will be using the following systems on an almost daily basis. Experience or knowledge of any of these systems will be preferred but can be trained on:

- QuickBooks

- HubSpot CRM (Can be and must be proficient in any CRM Tool)

- Office Suite Product: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

- Shipping programs

- Sales skills

Responsibilities:

  1. Take in all incoming customer calls, log customer calls, document and resolve customer questions, or pass through to the responsible party, then follow up to see if call concluded satisfactorily.
  2. Actively introduce AP Solutions, educate, sell, follow up, and conclude every sales opportunity that comes in via phone or email.
  3. Enter all orders leads and orders into the proper system accurately.
  4. Review all orders that come in from all staff, analyze them with a critical eye to see if they make logical sense, and make sure they are correct for the job being sold.
  5. Redirect and pass off appropriate sales opportunities to sales staff.
  6. Make outbound calls to previous customers to see if there is anything, we can do for them, look for new opportunities and share with those who need the information.
  7. May work with the production team to properly fulfill all orders
  8. Develop a complete understanding of our products and how the work
  9. Be able to answer basic questions concerning our products and their installation
  10. Work with and assist the sales team in entering orders and generating sales, prepare and ship samples, literature, and assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations.
  11. Answer all calls and emails in a timely manner and assist caller to satisfaction
  12. Managing and creating contacts for current clients
  13. Confirming appointments for our Sales Managers
  14. Daily review and data collect for sales reports
  15. Proactively shares success and chokeholds to continually improve our process
  16. Report activity and results on a daily basis
  17. Proactively improve performance through coaching and feedback provided by management
  18. Log calls and notes in appropriate CRM funnel
  19. Work hand in hand with sales and marketing team
  20. Manage shipping requirements and quotes
  21. All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Proficient in a CRM program (preferably HubSpot)
• Highly teachable, driven, and resourceful… able to think on their feet and take initiative
• Extreme attention to detail
• Very personable and comfortable speaking over the phone, Skype, etc. with customers and prospects
• Exhibits ownership of their job – for both successes and failures
• Able to lift up to 30lbs
• Comfortable working in an office environment, but willing to step into a warehouse to get the job done/help out.

Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a multitude of tasks focusing on safety, efficiency, productivity, and teamwork to manufacture parts and finished goods based on inventory requirements and customer demand.

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a multitude of tasks focusing on safety, efficiency, productivity, and teamwork to manufacture parts and finished goods based on inventory requirements and customer demand.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Learn and understand how to read sales orders. Learn various components of part numbers and understand how they apply to different products.
  • Operate die-cutting machine and cut roofing material into different sizes based on inventory needs and customer demand. Must learn types of roofing materials and their manufacturers (mainly commercial roofing). Will learn company products and corresponding die(s) used in manufacturing these products.
  • Use printer to label products with company name/logo and roofing manufacturer codes.
  • Prepare and assemble parts in various staging areas to be used in manufacturing process or as finished goods.
  • Use plate-to-membrane welding machines to waterproof the rooftop attachment. Must learn effects of various parameters on different roofing membranes/manufacturers.
  • Learn proprietary skills/tasks/jobs used in our manufacturing process.
  • Assemble various components of products and solutions offered by Anchor Products.
  • Must develop thorough understanding of resistance welding process and equipment in order to weld bolts to anchoring plates.
  • Use swaging machine to swage turnbuckles/wire rope combination and assemble various components of guy wire and HVAC tie downs.
  • Inspect finished goods and package them appropriately (will learn various products and packaging associated with them).
  • Place packaged products for customer orders by shipping door (inventory in different location)
  • Inspect products and finished goods for damages/defects to ensure quality standards are met and report to supervisor and/or manager if applicable.
  • Possess mental and physical acuity necessary to operate equipment and tools/machinery.
  • Gain understanding of raw materials and finished goods used in the production process.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

  • Follow warehouse safety protocols and warehouse procedures.

  • Maintain and continuously develop knowledge and skills pertinent to position.
  • Maintain clean and orderly warehouse environment.

Other Requirements:  Must be able to work minimum of 8am - 4:30pm Monday – Friday with occasional overtime. Some overtime will be mandatory. Have physical stamina and dexterity necessary to work in a fast-paced environment. Multi-task and work efficiently while maintaining high standards in quality at all times with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation to and from work required.

Certifications:  Valid Driver’s License and forklift certification will result in additional hourly pay (must be able to get insured on company policy in order to receive additional hourly pay for valid license). Please advise if have any roofing experience, especially commercial roofing.
